Science Day with Chuck Delpier

Mr. D. came to see us in the school hall with an array of fun science activities arranged in stations. We figured-out how the dynamo worked on a bike. We saw how the brakes work on our bikes too as it’s much too dangerous for us to watch the mechanism while we are cycling! Looking at snake skin under the microscope was fascinating and the sound boxes made for some unusual tunes! Large magnifying lenses made for great hillarity as noses, ears and eyes were displayed! The light and colour station was a great hit, but both the tools station and the magnet station proved the overall favourites of the day.

Thank you Mr. D for a wonderful day and we hope you return to us soon!
